Through the holes in the Emmental cheese, guests can enjoy fantastic views of the lovely Emmental hills leading from the legendary Lüderenalp, made famous by the Gotthelf films. The outdoor hotel room lies in a forest clearing at an altitude of 1,050 metres, 20 metres from Gasthof Kuttelbad, a 200-year-old guest house that Jeremias Gotthelf called the “sweetest spa in the canton of Bern”.
